In 2009, when Chris and Anna Hutchinson bought the land that would become Hutchinson Acres, they knew very little about producing maple syrup. It wasn’t long before they realized they needed help if they were going to really succeed in their maple syrup business.
WIPSI, Nova Scotia’s workplace professional development program, made it possible for them access the training that they and their staff needed to improve their production processes. Nova Scotia’s Workplace Innovation and Productivity Skills Incentive (WIPSI) helps eligible small and large businesses by covering training and professional development costs.
