Business Voice is Halifax’s business magazine. Published 8 times a year for members of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce and Halifax’s business community, it is the main communication vehicle for members, containing information and updates on all areas of the Chamber’s work.
The print magazine boasts 4,500 print subscribers with an estimated readership of 26,000.
The digital magazine enjoys a wide reach through the Chamber's website, e-bulletin and social media platforms. The estimated monthly readership for the publication is 100,000 on all communication channels combined.

Submit Members in the News
Members in the News is a recurring editorial in Business Voice Magazine that features news from member companies in good standing. Each month you have the opportunity to submit up to 100 words and a photo relating to your company’s news. Submissions will be included in the next available edition (approximately 2 months from the submission time, but subject to availability).
Topics range from retirement and hiring announcements, new clients or contracts, to celebrating recent accolades.

- Text may be edited due to space and style considerations.
- Photos should be 1200 x 1200 pixels minimum and are not guaranteed to be published. Square photos are preferred. Please no logos.
- Members not in good standing will not be published.
- Press releases will not be accepted.
Submit Trends article
Increase your credibility and build your organization’s profile by writing about a high-level topic related to your industry. Available for members in good standing. Your article will be published on Business Voice online. Publication in Business Voice magazine is at the editor’s discretion and space availability. Please note we aim to publish all approved member content in a timely manner, but due to a large number of submissions, we estimate a 3-4 issue wait.
Guidelines:
- 500-600 words
- Write in a conversational and engaging style that does not use acronyms or technical jargon
- Cannot promote any one business, product or service
- Avoid references to specific businesses
- Should share helpful information on a relevant business trend or topic
