Last year, Bauld Insurance stepped up and did its part to help Nova Scotia businesses with their Business Stimulus Giveaway. Businesses across HRM and the province entered the contest and shared their stories. Last year’s grand prize winner, the Rockin Rogi Diner, shared heartwarming appreciation for what the stimulus cheque meant for their local business. Along with runners-up, The Twisted Barber and Highlander Strength & Fitness, the prize money went to a group of deserving winners.
The 2021 Business Stimulus Giveaway did exactly what it had hoped to do – help local businesses who needed some extra cash to get them through tough times.
"Last year around this time, we had a thought – wouldn’t it be great to give some stimulus cash to local business. So, we pitched the idea to one of our national insurance providers and drummed up the money to make it happen,” said Sean Murray, Vice President Business Development, Bauld Insurance. “As a locally owned business, we really appreciate and celebrate local businesses. They are the backbone of our community, and there is nothing better than seeing our local businesses thrive."
