The Halifax Chamber offers over 100 events each year, including networking events, business luncheons, information sessions and galas; there is a little something for everyone. Training

We host a number of fully-funded training courses and full-day workshop sessions throughout the year on a variety of topics. These sessions fill up fast! Join the mailing list to be informed of training opportunities as they are announced.

Power Lunch

Power Lunches are meant to provide an opportunity for member organizations to present valuable information on topics of interest to other Chamber Members and staff. As a presenter of this series, this is your chance to promote your business knowledge, network and establish new relationships with your audience.

Webinars

Virtual training or information sessions hosted by local businesses or organizations. We typically allow Chamber members to attend our hosted webinars for free. This is a great opportunity to showcase your business and share your industry knowledge with our members.

Small Business Week

This week held yearly in October is aimed at small businesses interested in developing and strengthening their business strategy. We partner with other businesses to bring you events and training to learn about brand development, risk reduction, talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, leveraging global markets, securing capital and more. Chair's Breakfast

The Chair of the Halifax Chamber Board hosts breakfast sessions to discuss emerging issues in specific industries or in the business community. These events are held monthly and are invite only.

Business After Hours

Provides an opportunity for Members to host a Chamber networking event at their place of business. As the host, you will have the spotlight and be in charge of logistics. We provide the marketing and registration services while fellow members and guests provide the buzz. Held monthly and free to attend.

Ribbon Cuttings are a benefit for Halifax Chamber of Commerce Members. They are usually planned for a business’ expansion, relocation, grand opening, major anniversary, ground-breaking construction, customer number milestone or to welcome a new member to the Chamber. Featuring informative and thought-provoking addresses by business, government, and institutional speakers. Luncheons keep attendees up-to-date on topical issues affecting the business community.
