The Thread Between Us: A Somatic Exploration of Boundaries
with Jeannine Riant
What if you could feel your boundaries, instead of just talking about them? In this experiential breakout session, we move beyond concepts and into the body — using a simple ball of yarn to weave a felt sense of connection to our personal boundaries. This isn’t a typical lecture on saying no or time management. It’s an invitation to notice: where you give, where you hold, where you collapse, and where a new edge is quietly asking to be honored.
Through movement, reflection, and connection, this session gently guides you into deeper awareness of your energetic edges — and the power that lives in honoring them. You’ll walk away not just thinking differently about boundaries, but holding them differently — in your hands, your body, and your truth, noticing where your energy is ready to pull back or root deeper.
If you are joining Jeannine in this session, bring your ball of yarn, (yes, the one on the table).
about your presenter

Jeannine Riant
Fully Align Studio
Jeannine Riant is a transformational guide, speaker, and founder of Fully Align Studio. She helps women navigate big life transitions by reconnecting with the deep wisdom of the body—so they can find clarity, reclaim their power, and align with their soul’s true calling.
Originally from the Acadian French shores of Eastern Nova Scotia, Jeannine now calls Bedford, NS home. Her healing journey began in 2006, when life first handed her moments of chaos that shook her foundations. It was during this time she was introduced to sacred drumming journeys and whole body focusing—modalities that awakened a profound connection to her body’s innate wisdom. Over the years, travel became a teacher, especially her time in Costa Rica, where the unraveling of her 27-year marriage took place. Returning to Canada amid emotional upheaval and financial uncertainty, Jeannine chose to meet life with vulnerability, trust, and aligned action. She deepened her spiritual practice during this turning point which ultimately led her to birth Fully Align Studio, a sacred space for healing, embodiment, and deep personal transformation.
Jeannine creates safe, empowering containers where you release emotional blockages, awaken self-trust, and shift your vibrational state. Jeannine meets you where you are and walks beside you as you uncover clarity, confidence, and purpose. Her offerings include conscious life coaching, retreats, breath work, sacred drumming, family constellations, boundary work, reiki, cacao ceremonies, and more—designed to help you remember who you are.
A published co-author of Superwoman Myths – Break the Rules of Silence and Speak UP Your Truth, Jeannine also speaks on stages to inspire others to honour their truth and embrace change as a path to purpose. In 2023, she was named a Top 5 Finalist for the Halifax Chamber of Commerce New Business of the Year Award.

Women Who Outlearn: Turning AI into Strategic Advantage
with Sarah Gallant
Average productivity has inched up only ≈1.4 % a year since 2005, yet based on some predictions front‑runner firms that embrace generative AI could see productivity gains of 30 % per year — something we don’t even have economic models for. The last 24 months were only the practice round—next up is the real game. Small businesses that move first will out-learn and out-earn everyone else.
In this session, Sarah Gallant of Symplicity Designs shows why the biggest risk with AI isn’t runaway robots but staying tethered to a slow productivity drip when others will see unprecedented productivity gains. Through Atlantic‑Canadian success stories, Sarah reframes AI as a leadership lever—especially for women leaders positioned to turn upheaval into advantage. Attendees will learn strategic uses of AI, leave with a mental model for spotting “fractional AI” wins, and the conviction to guide your organisation through the coming productivity surge—on terms defined by women at the helm.
about your presenter

Sarah Gallant
Symplicity Designs
Sarah Gallant is Director, Client Delivery and AI‑enabled improvement strategist with Symplicity Designs in Atlantic Canada. Leveraging her Master of Chemical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, she blends operational discipline with applied artificial intelligence to improve workflow and transform live data into predictive insights—always in bite‑sized steps that teams can execute. Her hallmark is pairing cutting‑edge technology with pragmatic change‑leadership tactics so gains take root and endure.
Drawing on hands‑on work with start‑ups, scale‑ups, manufacturers, and public‑sector agencies, Sarah brings a panoramic view of what it takes to move ideas from whiteboard to bottom‑line results. She toggles seamlessly between executor and coach—rolling up her sleeves to lead mission‑critical projects while cultivating the internal capability that sustains momentum.
Sarah’s own journey from a world of biology and chemical‑engineering to AI‑powered transformation business projects offers a relatable blueprint for women in pursuit of high-impact leadership from a background of deep technical and subject-matter expertise.
Since 2020, Sarah has served as a Professor of Practice in UNB’s Technology Management & Entrepreneurship program, where she teaches Quality Management and mentors emerging innovators. She also volunteers as a judge for regional youth innovation challenges.
When she isn’t mapping value streams, you’ll likely find Sarah at the barn—recharging in the saddle—before heading off to explore New Brunswick’s coastline with her husband and young daughter.
