Provincial Government Affairs
The Provincial Government Affairs Committee is mandated to develop policy on issues of importance to Chamber members within the purview of the Provincial government. This includes, but is not limited to, provincial budget issues and regulatory matters.
This Committee is also tasked with developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers within the Provincial government structure and communicating Chamber policy to decision makers and to the Chamber membership.
The Committee's work is completed through an annual pre-budget submission and an annual issues note, both of which are submitted to members of the legislative assembly, the Premier and key staff members within the Province of Nova Scotia.
